Tuesday morning July 10th I leave with my flying friend Krijn Krijnsen from Brussels for a three week trip to the USA. Purpose: to attend the annual SuperCub.org Fly In, during EAA Airventure in Oshkosh. We arrive Tuesday evening in Greenbay and drive to my dear friends Carol Dodge and Rollie Olm in Whitelaw, WI.
Both of us are welcomed by these wonderful hosts and I bring with us my freshly printed book 'Flying Dutchman and his Cub, a dream come trues'. And also Belgian bonbons and Delft porcelain (wooden) shoes.
We talk a lot, sleep well and next day Rollie and Carol take us on a tour over the 'Michael Dodge Nature Reserve' that they live and work on. In the evening Carol goes to her nightwork at local E.R. And Rollie gives us a ride in his Piper Cub 'Dancing with the Bear'.
