Exactly 100 years ago by Valders dealer Christel, tyhe first Ford was sold in Wisconsin. That anniversary was memmorated today by inviting many Ford antique cars to the center in Valders.
My hosts Carol and Rollie own a beautiful Model A Ford, and together with their friend Chuck in his old Van, we drove to Valders. Saw many nice cars, also some with special memoirs. A grey Ford (1934), bought once by Steve Quasius, the proud owner for $25,-. And now 2010 in exquisite state. Wow!
Tomorrow I will drive to EAA in Oshkosh to prepare everything for my presentation next week. I can hardly wait ...
